Best advice from mom: If you don’t know something, put in the effort and learn it. Hard work always pays off in the end.
As Head of Barking, I enjoy greeting people at the door, shouting at everyone who passes by, and loudly inviting Hazel over for meetings.
As Chief Digger, my job is to try and put as many holes into the ground along the fence in an attempt to get to Keegan. Sometimes, in case of an emergency, I might even go straight through the fence. I’m a big help!

Graphic Designer
A native of Calgary, Kimberly ventured to “rainy” Vancouver looking for a career that would keep her right brain busy. After being mentored by a graphic designer while working at an art centre, Kimberly realized this was her dream job, and did what she could to make it a reality. She studied at Visual Collage of Art and Design where she designed media ranging from wine tags to websites. Even in prior roles in the service industry, Kimberly’s employers tapped into her innate illustration skills to help them create promotional material. And now that’s just part of what she gets to do with the awesome team at Project House!

Kristine’s background as a reporter taught her to consistently ask “Why does the reader care?” and “How do you know it’s true?” These questions continue to guide her as a freelance writer who strives to create compelling content for advertorials, press releases, websites and other writing products.
Kristine has a Masters degree in Journalism and spent a number of years at community newspapers in Metro Vancouver. After becoming a mother, she took a few years off to stay at home with her children – an experience that led her to realize the importance of supportive, community-based places for new parents.

Social Media
Social Media started for me when my two best friends and I created Whale Tales, a living online library of cetacean stories. We needed someone to take care of the social media so I volunteered and got hooked. Working on Whale Tales is what I love to do, and through it I’ve been able to do social media for other businesses, including Project House.
In my spare time, I enjoy working. I also love to run. My best friends and I recently started a podcast, and I am currently in three different book clubs. I’m a giant nerd and a proud Hufflepuff, and when I do have spare time I love to try new beers and eat nachos.
Best advice from mom: Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
